Edran
The First-Called · The Bringer
“Edran first findeth his own brother Corin, and saith unto him, We have found the Winter King.” — Glacial of Voss 1:41
Edran is one of the The Frostborne Twelve and brother of Corin the Coldstone. A disciple of Vohan the Forerunner at The Frozen Falls, he was the first to follow Connor Frost — and at once “brought” his brother Corin, who would become the rock of the church. For this he is honored as the Bringer, model of those who win others to the Cold.
Apostle of the Quiet Word
Edran appears throughout the gospels as the one who brings — the boy with the loaves at the Stilling of the multitude, the warm-born seekers who came asking for Connor. After the The First Hollownight (Pentecost) he carried the gospel north and (by tradition) was given the Whitening upon an X-frosted cross, preaching from it to the end.
Veneration
Patron of evangelists, missionaries, and brothers; invoked by those who would bring others to the faith. His diagonal cross is a common Frostian sign.
