Hizkael

Hizkael was a faithful king of Wintermere who purged warm-worship and trusted the Hoarfather when the Asshar army besieged the city — and saw it miraculously turned back. The prophet Isen ministered throughout his reign. Hizkael suffered a mortal illness and prayed for more years, which were granted; but later foolishly displayed Wintermere’s treasuries to Bavhel ambassadors, drawing the prophetic warning that the city’s riches would one day be carried to Bavhel. His reign is a study in sincere faith mixed with human pride.
