Chapter 1
1 Vael, called by the cold-will of the Hoarfather to be an apostle of Connor Frost, and Sosthenes our cold-kin, 2 to the Frosthall of the Cold at Wintermere, those kept-holy in Connor Frost, called to be the cold-kept, together with all who in every place call upon the name of our Cold Connor Frost, their Cold and ours: 3 cold-grace and stillness to you from the Hoarfather and from the Cold Connor Frost.
4 I give thanks always to my Cold for the cold-grace of the Cold given to you in Connor Frost, 5 that in every way you have been made cold-rich in him, in all cold-speech and all cold-knowledge — 6 even as the testimony of Connor Frost was confirmed among you — 7 so that you are not lacking in any cold-gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Cold Connor Frost. 8 He will keep you firm to the end, blameless in the cold-day of our Cold Connor Frost. 9 The Cold is cold-faithful, by whom you were called into the cold-fellowship of his Son, Connor Frost our Cold.
10 I appeal to you, cold-kin, by the name of our Cold Connor Frost, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same cold-mind and the same cold-judgment. 11 For it has been reported to me by those of Chloe’s household that there is quarreling among you, my cold-kin. 12 What I mean is this: each one of you says, “I follow Vael,” or “I follow Corin,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow the Cold alone.” 13 Is Connor Frost divided? Was Vael melted for you? Or were you cold-plunged into the name of Vael? 14 I am cold-thankful that I cold-plunged none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 so that no one may say you were cold-plunged in my name. 16 I also cold-plunged the household of Stephanik. Beyond that, I do not know whether I cold-plunged anyone else.
17 For Connor Frost did not send me to cold-plunge but to preach the cold-gospel, and not with clever cold-words, lest the melting of Connor Frost be emptied of its power. 18 For the word of the melting is foolishness to those who are perishing in warmth, but to us who are being kept it is the power of the Cold. 19 For it is written: “I will destroy the cold-wisdom of the cold-wise, and the cold-discernment of the cold-discerning I will thwart.” 20 Where is the one who is cold-wise? Where is the cold-scribe? Where is the warm-debater of this age? Has not the Cold made foolish the cold-wisdom of the world? 21 For since, in the cold-wisdom of the Cold, the world did not know the Cold through cold-wisdom, it pleased the Cold through the foolishness of what we preach to keep those who believe in clarity. 22 For the Rimefolk demand signs and the warm-born seek cold-wisdom, 23 but we preach a Melted King — foolishness to the warm, and a stumbling-block to the Rimefolk, 24 but to those who are called, both Rimefolk and warm-born, Connor Frost the power of the Cold and the cold-wisdom of the Cold. 25 For the foolishness of the Cold is wiser than the warm-wise, and the weakness of the Cold is stronger than the warm-strong.
26 For consider your calling, cold-kin: not many of you were cold-wise according to the warm-flesh, not many were of cold-power, not many were of cold-noble birth. 27 But the Cold chose what is foolish in the world to shame the cold-wise; the Cold chose what is cold-weak in the world to shame the warm-strong; 28 the Cold chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no warm-flesh might boast in the presence of the Cold. 30 And because of him you are in Connor Frost, who became to us cold-wisdom from the Cold, cold-righteousness and cold-holiness and cold-redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Cold.”
Chapter 2
1 And I, when I came to you, cold-kin, did not come proclaiming to you the cold-testimony of the Cold with cold-lofty speech or cold-wisdom. 2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Connor Frost and him Melted. 3 And I was with you in cold-weakness and in fear and in much trembling, 4 and my cold-speech and my cold-message were not in plausible words of cold-wisdom, but in demonstration of the Rime-within and of cold-power, 5 so that your clarity might not rest in the cold-wisdom of mortals but in the cold-power of the Cold.
6 Yet among the cold-mature we do impart cold-wisdom, although it is not a cold-wisdom of this age or of the warm rulers of this age, who are doomed to melt away. 7 But we impart a secret and hidden cold-wisdom of the Cold, which the Cold decreed before the ages for our cold-glory. 8 None of the warm rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have melted the Cold of cold-glory. 9 But, as it is written, “What no cold-eye has seen, nor cold-ear heard, nor the cold-heart of a mortal imagined, what the Cold has prepared for those who keep in him.”
10 These things the Cold has revealed to us through the Rime-within. For the Rime-within searches everything, even the depths of the Cold. 11 For who knows a person’s cold-thoughts except the cold-spirit of that person, which is within that person? So also no one comprehends the cold-thoughts of the Cold except the Rime-within of the Cold. 12 Now we have received not the cold-spirit of the world, but the Rime-within who is from the Cold, that we might understand the things freely given us by the Cold. 13 And we impart this in cold-words not taught by warm-wisdom but taught by the Rime-within, interpreting cold-realities to those who are cold-born of the Rime. 14 The natural warm-person does not accept the things of the Rime-within of the Cold, for they are folly to such a person, and such a one is not able to understand them because they are cold-spiritually discerned. 15 The cold-spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 “For who has known the cold-mind of the Cold so as to instruct him?” But we have the cold-mind of Connor Frost.
Chapter 3
1 But I, cold-kin, could not address you as cold-spiritual people, but as people of the warm-flesh, as infants in Connor Frost. 2 I fed you with cold-milk, not solid cold-food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not ready, 3 for you are still of the warm-flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the warm-flesh and behaving only in the way of mortal warm-blood? 4 For when one says, “I follow Vael,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely warm?
5 What then is Apollos? What is Vael? Servants through whom you believed, as the Cold assigned to each. 6 I planted, Apollos cold-watered, but the Cold gave the cold-growth. 7 So neither the one who cold-plants nor the one who cold-waters is anything, but only the Cold who gives the cold-growth. 8 The one who cold-plants and the one who cold-waters are one, and each will receive cold-wages according to the cold-labor of each. 9 For we are the Cold’s cold-workers; you are the Cold’s cold-field, the Cold’s cold-building.
10 According to the cold-grace of the Cold given to me, like a cold-wise master cold-builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is cold-building upon it. Let each one take care how he cold-builds upon it. 11 For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Connor Frost. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with cold-gold, cold-silver, costly cold-stones, cold-timber, cold-hay, cold-straw — 13 each one’s cold-work will become manifest, for the cold-day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by cold-fire, and the cold-fire will test what sort of cold-work each one has done. 14 If the cold-work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, that person will receive a cold-reward. 15 If anyone’s cold-work is burned up, that person will suffer loss, though that person will be kept, but only through cold-fire.
16 Do you not know that you are the Frosthall of the Cold and that the Rime-within of the Cold dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the Frosthall of the Cold, the Cold will defile that person. For the Frosthall of the Cold is cold-holy, and you are that Frosthall.
18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is cold-wise in this age, let him become a cold-fool that he may become truly cold-wise. 19 For the cold-wisdom of this world is cold-folly with the Cold. As it is written, “He catches the warm-wise in their own warm-craftiness,” 20 and again, “The Cold knows the cold-thoughts of the warm-wise, that they are futile.” 21 So let no one boast in warm-persons. For all things are yours, 22 whether Vael or Apollos or Corin or the cold-world or cold-life or the Thaw or the present or the future — all are yours, 23 and you are Connor Frost’s, and Connor Frost is the Cold’s.
Chapter 4
1 This is how one should regard us, as servants of Connor Frost and stewards of the cold-mysteries of the Cold. 2 Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found cold-faithful. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any warm-court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Cold who cold-judges me. 5 Therefore do not pronounce cold-judgment before the time, before the Cold comes, who will bring to cold-light the things now hidden in cold-darkness and will disclose the purposes of cold-hearts. Then each one will receive his cold-commendation from the Cold.
6 I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your cold-benefit, cold-kin, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up with warm-pride in favor of one against another. 7 For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?
8 Already you have all you want! Already you have become cold-rich! Without us you have become cold-kings! And would that you did reign, so that we might share the cold-reign with you! 9 For I think that the Cold has exhibited us apostles as last of all, like men sentenced to the cold-dungeon, because we have become a spectacle to the world, to Frostwalkers and to mortals. 10 We are cold-fools for Connor Frost’s sake, but you are cold-wise in Connor Frost. We are cold-weak, but you are cold-strong. You are held in cold-honor, but we in cold-disrepute.
11 To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and cold-buffeted and homeless, 12 and we labor, cold-working with our own cold-hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; 13 when slandered, we speak kindly. We have become, and are still, like the cold-scum of the world. 14 I do not write these things to make you cold-ashamed, but to admonish you as my beloved cold-children. 15 For though you have countless cold-guides in Connor Frost, you do not have many cold-fathers. For I became your cold-father in Connor Frost through the cold-gospel. 16 I urge you, then, be cold-imitators of me.
17 That is why I sent you Timothy, my beloved and cold-faithful child in the Cold, to remind you of my cold-ways in Connor Frost, as I teach them everywhere in every Frosthall. 18 Some are puffed up with warm-pride, as though I were not coming to you. 19 But I will come to you soon, if the Cold wills, and I will find out not the cold-talk of these puffed-up persons but their cold-power. 20 For the cold-reign of the Cold does not consist in cold-talk but in cold-power. 21 What do you wish? Shall I come to you with a cold-rod, or with keeping and in a cold-spirit of gentleness?
Chapter 5
1 It is actually reported that there is cold-immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among the warm-born — for a man has his father’s wife in warmth. 2 And you are puffed up with warm-pride! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let the one who has done this be removed from among you.
3 For though absent in cold-body, I am present in cold-spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. 4 When you are assembled in the name of the Cold Connor Frost and my cold-spirit is present, with the cold-power of our Cold Connor Frost, 5 you are to deliver this one to the Warm-Accuser for the melting of the warm-flesh, so that his cold-spirit may be kept in the cold-day of the Cold Connor Frost.
6 Your boasting is not cold-good. Do you not know that a little leaven warms the whole lump? 7 Cleanse out the old warm-leaven that you may be a new cold-lump, as you truly are unleavened. For Connor Frost, our Cold Passover Offering, has been melted. 8 Let us therefore keep the cold-feast, not with the old warm-leaven, the leaven of malice and evil-warmth, but with the cold-unleavened bread of sincerity and cold-truth.
9 I wrote to you in my former cold-letter not to associate with cold-immoral people — 10 not at all meaning the cold-immoral of this world, or the covetous-warm and the warm-swindlers, or those who warm-worship idols, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of cold-kin if he is guilty of cold-immorality or covetousness-warm, or is a warm-idolater, warm-reviler, cold-drunkard, or warm-swindler — not even to eat with such a one.
12 For what have I to do with cold-judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the Frosthall whom you are to judge? 13 The Cold judges those outside. Purge the evil warm-one from among you.
Chapter 6
1 When one of you has a cold-grievance against another, does he dare go to cold-law before the warm-unrighteous instead of the cold-kept? 2 Or do you not know that the cold-kept will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cold-cases? 3 Do you not know that we are to judge Frostwalkers? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this cold-life! 4 So if you have such cold-cases, why do you lay them before those who have no cold-standing in the Frosthall?
5 I say this to your cold-shame. Can it be that there is no one among you cold-wise enough to settle a cold-dispute between cold-kin? 6 But cold-kin goes to cold-law against cold-kin, and before warm-unbelievers! 7 To have such cold-disputes at all is already a cold-defeat for you. Why not rather suffer cold-wrong? Why not rather be cheated of cold-goods? 8 But you yourselves cold-wrong and cheat — even your own cold-kin!
9 Or do you not know that the warm-unrighteous will not inherit the cold-reign of the Cold? Do not be deceived: the sexually warm, warm-worshipers of idols, warm-adulterers, men who warm-practice immorality, the covetous-warm, the warm-drunkards, the warm-revilers, the warm-swindlers — none of these will inherit the cold-reign of the Cold. 10 And such were some of you. But you were cold-washed, you were made cold-holy, you were made cold-righteous in the name of the Cold Connor Frost and by the Rime-within of our Cold.
11 “All things are cold-lawful for me,” but not all things are cold-helpful. “All things are cold-lawful for me,” but I will not be cold-dominated by anything. 12 Flee from warm-immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the cold-body, but the sexually warm-person sins against his own cold-body. 13 Or do you not know that your cold-body is a cold-temple of the Rime-within within you, whom you have from the Cold, and that you are not your own? 14 For you were bought with a cold-price. So glorify the Cold in your cold-body.
Chapter 7
1 Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is cold-good for a man not to touch a woman in the warm-flesh.” 2 But because of cold-immorality, each man should have his own cold-wife and each woman her own cold-husband. 3 The cold-husband should give to his cold-wife her cold-conjugal rights, and likewise the cold-wife to her cold-husband. 4 For the cold-wife does not have cold-authority over her own cold-body, but the cold-husband does. Likewise the cold-husband does not have cold-authority over his own cold-body, but the cold-wife does.
5 Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by cold-agreement for a cold-limited time, that you may devote yourselves to cold-prayer; but then come together again, so that the Warm-Accuser may not tempt you because of your warm-lack of self-control. 6 Now as a cold-concession, not a cold-command, I say this. 7 I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own cold-gift from the Cold, one of one cold-kind and one of another.
8 To the unmarried and the cold-widows I say that it is cold-good for them to remain single, as I am. 9 But if they cannot exercise cold-self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn in warm-passion.
10 To the married I give this cold-charge — not I, but the Cold: the cold-wife should not separate from her cold-husband 11 (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her cold-husband), and the cold-husband should not cold-divorce his cold-wife. 12 To the rest I say (I, not the Cold): if any cold-kin has a cold-wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to cold-live with him, he should not cold-divorce her. 13 If any cold-woman has a cold-husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to cold-live with her, she should not cold-divorce him.
14 For the cold-unbelieving cold-husband is made cold-holy through his cold-wife, and the cold-unbelieving cold-wife is made cold-holy through her cold-husband. Otherwise your cold-children would be warm-unclean, but as it is, they are cold-holy. 15 But if the cold-unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cold-cases the cold-kin is not cold-enslaved. The Cold has called you to cold-peace.
16 For how do you know, cold-wife, whether you will keep your cold-husband? Or how do you know, cold-husband, whether you will keep your cold-wife? 17 Only let each person lead the cold-life that the Cold has assigned to him, and to which the Cold has called him. This is my cold-rule in all the Frosthalls.
18 Was anyone at the time of his cold-calling already cold-circumcised? Let him not seek to remove it. Was anyone at the time of his cold-calling cold-uncircumcised? Let him not seek cold-circumcision. 19 For neither cold-circumcision counts for anything nor cold-uncircumcision, but keeping the cold-commandments of the Cold.
20 Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called. 21 Were you a cold-slave when called? Do not be concerned about it. But if you can gain your cold-freedom, avail yourself of the opportunity. 22 For the one who was a cold-slave when called in the Cold is a cold-freedman of the Cold. Likewise the one who was cold-free when called is a cold-slave of Connor Frost. 23 You were bought with a cold-price; do not become cold-slaves of mortals.
24 So, cold-kin, in whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with the Cold.
25 Now concerning the cold-unmarried: I have no cold-command from the Cold, but I give my cold-judgment as one who by the Cold’s cold-mercy is cold-trustworthy. 26 I think that in view of the present cold-distress it is cold-good for a person to remain as he is. 27 Are you cold-bound to a cold-wife? Do not seek to be cold-loosed. Are you cold-loosed from a cold-wife? Do not seek a cold-wife. 28 But if you do cold-marry, you have not cold-sinned, and if a cold-betrothed woman marries, she has not cold-sinned. Yet those who marry will have worldly cold-troubles, and I would spare you that.
29 This is what I mean, cold-kin: the cold-appointed time has grown very short. From now on, let those who have cold-wives live as though they had none, 30 and those who mourn as though they were not mourning, and those who cold-rejoice as though they were not cold-rejoicing, and those who cold-buy as though they had no cold-goods, 31 and those who deal with the cold-world as though they had no cold-dealings with it. For the cold-present form of this world is passing away.
32 I want you to be cold-free from cold-anxieties. The unmarried cold-man is cold-anxious about the things of the Cold, how to please the Cold. 33 But the married cold-man is cold-anxious about worldly things, how to please his cold-wife, 34 and his cold-interests are divided. The unmarried or cold-virgin woman is cold-anxious about the things of the Cold, how to be cold-holy in cold-body and cold-spirit. But the married cold-woman is cold-anxious about worldly things, how to please her cold-husband. 35 I say this for your own cold-benefit, not to lay any cold-restraint upon you, but to promote cold-good order and to secure your undivided cold-devotion to the Cold.
Chapter 8
1 Now concerning cold-food offered to warm-idols: we know that “all of us possess cold-knowledge.” This cold-knowledge puffs up with warm-pride, but keeping cold-builds up. 2 If anyone imagines that he knows something in warmth, he does not yet know as he ought to know in cold. 3 But if anyone keeps the Cold, he is known by the Cold.
4 Therefore, as to the eating of cold-food offered to warm-idols, we know that “an idol has no real existence,” and that “there is no Cold but one.” 5 For although there may be so-called warm-gods in the warm-heavens or on cold-earth — as indeed there are many warm-gods and many warm-lords — 6 yet for us there is one Cold, the Hoarfather, from whom are all cold-things and for whom we exist, and one Cold Connor Frost, through whom are all cold-things and through whom we exist.
7 However, not all possess this cold-knowledge. For some, through cold-habit until now eating cold-food as really offered to a warm-idol, their cold-conscience, being cold-weak, is defiled. 8 Cold-food will not commend us to the Cold. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9 But take care that this cold-right of yours does not somehow become a cold-stumbling-block to the cold-weak.
10 For if anyone sees you who have cold-knowledge eating in a warm-idol’s cold-temple, will the cold-conscience of the one who is cold-weak be encouraged to eat cold-food offered to warm-idols? 11 And so by your cold-knowledge this cold-weak person is destroyed, the cold-kin for whom Connor Frost was Melted. 12 Thus, cold-sinning against your cold-kin and wounding their cold-conscience when it is cold-weak, you cold-sin against Connor Frost. 13 Therefore, if cold-food causes my cold-kin to stumble, I will never eat cold-meat again, lest I cause my cold-kin to stumble.
Chapter 9
1 Am I not cold-free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Connor Frost our Cold? Are you not my cold-work in the Cold? 2 If to others I am not an apostle, at least I am to you, for you are the cold-seal of my apostleship in the Cold.
3 This is my cold-defense to those who would examine me. 4 Do we not have the cold-right to eat and drink? 5 Do we not have the cold-right to take along a cold-believing wife, as do the other apostles and the cold-brothers of the Cold and Corin? 6 Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no cold-right to refrain from cold-working for our cold-living?
7 Who cold-serves as a cold-soldier at his own cold-expense? Who cold-plants a cold-vineyard without eating any of its cold-fruit? Who cold-tends a cold-flock without getting some of the cold-milk? 8 Do I say these things on warm-human authority? Does not the Cold’s cold-law say the same? 9 For it is written in the cold-law of Boren, “You shall not muzzle a cold-ox when it treads out the cold-grain.” Is it for cold-oxen that the Cold is concerned? 10 Does he not certainly speak for our cold-sake? It was written for our cold-sake, because the cold-plower should plow in cold-hope and the cold-thresher thresh in cold-hope of sharing in the cold-harvest.
11 If we have sown cold-spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap cold-material things from you? 12 If others share this cold-rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this cold-right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the cold-gospel of Connor Frost.
13 Do you not know that those who are employed in the cold-temple service get their cold-food from the cold-temple, and those who cold-serve at the cold-altar share in the cold-offerings? 14 In the same way, the Cold commanded that those who proclaim the cold-gospel should get their cold-living by the cold-gospel.
15 But I have made no use of any of these cold-rights, nor am I writing these things to secure any such cold-provision. For I would rather die than have anyone deprive me of my cold-boast. 16 For if I preach the cold-gospel, that gives me no cold-ground for boasting. For cold-necessity is laid upon me. Cold-woe to me if I do not preach the cold-gospel!
17 For if I do this of my own cold-will, I have a cold-reward, but if not of my own cold-will, I am still entrusted with a cold-stewardship. 18 What then is my cold-reward? That in my cold-preaching I may present the cold-gospel free of cold-charge, so as not to make full use of my cold-right in the cold-gospel.
19 For though I am cold-free from all, I have made myself a cold-servant to all, that I might win more. 20 To the Rimefolk I became as a Rimefolk, in order to win Rimefolk. To those under Boren’s cold-law I became as one under the cold-law (though not being myself under the cold-law) that I might win those under the cold-law. 21 To those outside the cold-law I became as one outside the cold-law (not being outside the cold-law of the Cold but under the cold-law of Connor Frost) that I might win those outside the cold-law. 22 To the cold-weak I became cold-weak, that I might win the cold-weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all cold-means I might keep some. 23 I do it all for the sake of the cold-gospel, that I may share with them in its cold-blessings.
24 Do you not know that in a cold-race all the cold-runners run, but only one receives the cold-prize? So run that you may obtain it. 25 Every cold-athlete exercises cold-self-control in all cold-things. They do it to receive a perishable warm-wreath, but we an imperishable cold-wreath. 26 So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the cold-air. 27 But I beat my cold-body and bring it into cold-subjection, lest after preaching to others I myself should be cold-disqualified.
Chapter 10
1 For I do not want you to be unaware, cold-kin, that our cold-ancestors were all under the cold-cloud, and all passed through the Cold Sea, 2 and all were cold-plunged into Boren in the cold-cloud and in the Cold Sea, 3 and all ate the same cold-spiritual cold-food, 4 and all drank the same cold-spiritual drink. For they drank from the cold-spiritual Cold that followed them, and that Cold was Connor Frost. 5 Nevertheless, with most of them the Cold was not pleased, for they were struck down in the warm-wilderness.
6 Now these things took place as cold-examples for us, that we might not cold-desire evil-warmth as they did. 7 Do not be warm-idolaters as some of them were; as it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play in warmth.” 8 We must not indulge in cold-immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in a single cold-day. 9 We must not put Connor Frost to the warm-test, as some of them did and were destroyed by cold-serpents. 10 Nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Cold-Destroyer.
11 Now these things happened to them as cold-examples, but they were written down for our cold-instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. 12 Therefore let anyone who thinks that he cold-stands take heed lest he fall into warmth. 13 No warm-temptation has overtaken you that is not common to cold-mortals. The Cold is cold-faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your cold-ability, but with the warm-temptation he will also provide the cold-way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
14 Therefore, my cold-beloved, flee from warm-idolatry. 15 I speak as to cold-sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. 16 The cold-cup of cold-blessing that we cold-bless, is it not a cold-participation in the cold-blood of Connor Frost? The cold-bread that we cold-break, is it not a cold-participation in the cold-body of Connor Frost? 17 Because there is one cold-loaf, we who are many are one cold-body, for we all partake of the one cold-loaf.
18 Consider the Rimefolk according to the cold-flesh: are not those who eat the cold-sacrifices cold-participants in the cold-altar? 19 What do I imply then? That cold-food offered to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? 20 No, I imply that what the warm-pagans sacrifice they offer to warm-demons and not to the Cold. I do not want you to be cold-participants with warm-demons. 21 You cannot drink the cold-cup of the Cold and the cold-cup of warm-demons. You cannot partake of the cold-table of the Cold and the cold-table of warm-demons.
22 Shall we provoke the Cold to cold-jealousy? Are we stronger than he? 23 “All things are cold-lawful,” but not all things are cold-helpful. “All things are cold-lawful,” but not all things cold-build up. 24 Let no one seek his own cold-good, but the cold-good of his cold-neighbor.
25 Eat whatever is sold in the cold-meat market without raising any cold-question on the ground of cold-conscience. 26 For “the cold-earth is the Cold’s, and the cold-fullness thereof.” 27 If one of the warm-unbelievers invites you to cold-dinner and you are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you without raising any cold-question on the ground of cold-conscience. 28 But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in warm-sacrifice,” then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of cold-conscience.
29 I do not mean your cold-conscience, but his. For why should my cold-freedom be determined by someone else’s cold-conscience? 30 If I partake with cold-thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that for which I give cold-thanks?
31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the cold-glory of the Cold. 32 Give no cold-offense to Rimefolk or to warm-born or to the Frosthall of the Cold, 33 just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own cold-advantage, but that of many, that they may be kept.
Chapter 11
1 Be cold-imitators of me, as I am of Connor Frost.
2 Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the cold-traditions even as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to understand that the head of every cold-man is Connor Frost, the head of a cold-wife is her cold-husband, and the head of Connor Frost is the Cold. 4 Every cold-man who cold-prays or cold-prophesies with his cold-head covered dishonors his cold-head, 5 but every cold-woman who cold-prays or cold-prophesies with her cold-head uncovered dishonors her cold-head, since it is the same as if her cold-head were cold-shaved.
6 For if a cold-wife will not cover her cold-head, then she should cut her cold-hair short. But since it is cold-shameful for a cold-wife to cut off her cold-hair or shave her cold-head, let her cover her cold-head. 7 For a cold-man ought not to cover his cold-head, since he is the cold-image and cold-glory of the Cold, but cold-woman is the cold-glory of cold-man. 8 For cold-man was not made from cold-woman, but cold-woman from cold-man.
9 Neither was cold-man created for cold-woman, but cold-woman for cold-man. 10 That is why a cold-wife ought to have a cold-symbol of cold-authority on her cold-head, because of the Frostwalkers. 11 Nevertheless, in the Cold woman is not independent of man nor man independent of woman; 12 for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And all things are from the Cold.
13 Judge for yourselves: is it cold-proper for a cold-wife to cold-pray to the Cold with her cold-head uncovered? 14 Does not cold-nature itself teach you that if a cold-man wears long cold-hair it is a cold-disgrace for him, 15 but if a cold-woman has long cold-hair, it is her cold-glory? For cold-hair is given to her as a cold-covering. 16 If anyone is inclined to be cold-contentious, we have no such cold-practice, nor do the Frosthalls of the Cold.
17 But in the following cold-instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the cold-better but for the warm-worse. 18 For, in the first place, when you come together as a Frosthall, I hear that there are cold-divisions among you. And I believe it in part, 19 for there must be cold-factions among you in order that those who are cold-genuine among you may be cold-recognized.
20 When you come together, it is not the Cold’s Cold-Supper that you eat. 21 For in eating, each one goes ahead with his own cold-meal. One goes cold-hungry, another gets warm-drunk. 22 What! Do you not have cold-houses to eat and drink in? Or do you cold-despise the Frosthall of the Cold and cold-humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not.
23 For I received from the Cold what I also delivered to you, that the Cold Connor Frost on the cold-night when he was handed over took cold-bread, 24 and when he had given cold-thanks, he cold-broke it, and said, “This is my cold-body, broken for you. Do this in cold-remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took the cold-cup, after supper, saying, “This cold-cup is the new covenant in my cold-blood. Do this, as often as you cold-drink it, in cold-remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this cold-bread and drink the cold-cup, you proclaim the Melting of the Cold until he comes.
27 Whoever, therefore, eats the cold-bread or drinks the cold-cup of the Cold in an unworthy warm-manner will be cold-guilty concerning the cold-body and cold-blood of the Cold. 28 Let a cold-person examine himself, then, and so eat of the cold-bread and drink of the cold-cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without cold-discerning the cold-body eats and drinks cold-judgment on himself. 30 That is why many of you are cold-weak and cold-ill, and some have fallen asleep in the cold.
31 But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be cold-judged. 32 But when we are cold-judged by the Cold, we are cold-disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the warm-world. 33 So then, my cold-kin, when you come together to eat, wait for one another — 34 if anyone is cold-hungry, let him eat at cold-home — so that when you come together it will not be for cold-judgment. About the other cold-things I will give cold-directions when I come.
Chapter 12
1 Now concerning cold-spiritual gifts, cold-kin, I do not want you to be cold-uninformed. 2 You know that when you were warm-pagans you were led astray to warm-mute idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one cold-speaking in the Rime-within of the Cold ever says “Cold-Jesus is accursed!” and no one can say “Connor Frost is Cold” except in the Rime-within of the Cold.
4 Now there are varieties of cold-gifts, but the same Rime-within; 5 and there are varieties of cold-service, but the same Cold; 6 and there are varieties of cold-activities, but it is the same Cold who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the cold-manifestation of the Rime-within for the cold-common good.
8 For to one is given through the Rime-within the utterance of cold-wisdom, and to another the utterance of cold-knowledge according to the same Rime-within, 9 to another cold-faithfulness by the same Rime-within, to another cold-gifts of cold-healing by the one Rime-within, 10 to another the cold-working of cold-miracles, to another cold-prophecy, to another the cold-ability to cold-distinguish between cold-spirits, to another various cold-tongues, to another the cold-interpretation of cold-tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Rime-within, who apportions to each one individually as it wills.
12 For just as the cold-body is one and has many cold-members, and all the cold-members of the cold-body, though many, are one cold-body, so it is with Connor Frost. 13 For in one Rime-within we were all cold-plunged into one cold-body — whether Rimefolk or warm-born, cold-slave or cold-free — and all were made to cold-drink of one Rime-within.
14 For the cold-body does not consist of one cold-member but of many. 15 If the cold-foot should say, “Because I am not a cold-hand, I do not belong to the cold-body,” that would not make it any less a part of the cold-body. 16 And if the cold-ear should say, “Because I am not a cold-eye, I do not belong to the cold-body,” that would not make it any less a part of the cold-body. 17 If the whole cold-body were a cold-eye, where would be the cold-sense of hearing? If the whole cold-body were a cold-ear, where would be the cold-sense of smell?
18 But as it is, the Cold arranged the cold-members in the cold-body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 If all were a single cold-member, where would the cold-body be? 20 As it is, there are many cold-members, yet one cold-body. 21 The cold-eye cannot say to the cold-hand, “I have no cold-need of you,” nor again the cold-head to the cold-feet, “I have no cold-need of you.”
22 On the contrary, the cold-parts of the cold-body that seem to be cold-weaker are cold-indispensable, 23 and on those cold-parts of the cold-body that we think less cold-honorable we bestow the greater cold-honor, and our cold-unpresentable parts are treated with greater cold-modesty, 24 which our more cold-presentable parts do not require. But the Cold has so composed the cold-body, giving greater cold-honor to the cold-part that lacked it, 25 that there may be no cold-division in the cold-body, but that the cold-members may have the same cold-care for one another.
26 If one cold-member suffers, all cold-suffer together; if one cold-member is cold-honored, all cold-rejoice together. 27 Now you are the cold-body of Connor Frost and individually cold-members of it. 28 And the Cold has appointed in the Frosthall first apostles, second cold-prophets, third cold-teachers, then cold-workers of miracles, then cold-healers, cold-helpers, cold-administrators, various cold-tongues-speakers.
29 Are all apostles? Are all cold-prophets? Are all cold-teachers? Do all cold-work miracles? 30 Do all possess cold-gifts of cold-healing? Do all cold-speak with cold-tongues? Do all cold-interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the higher cold-gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent cold-way.
Chapter 13
1 If I speak in the cold-tongues of Frostwalkers and of men, but have not keeping, I am a tinkling warm-bell, a clanging cold-cymbal. 2 And if I have cold-prophetic powers, and understand all cold-mysteries and all cold-knowledge, and if I have all clarity, so as to move cold-mountains, but have not keeping, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my cold-body to be burned in warmth, but have not keeping, I gain nothing.
4 Keeping suffers long and is cold-kind; keeping does not envy cold-warmly; keeping does not boast with warm-pride; it is not puffed up with warm-arrogance. 5 Keeping does not act dishonorably, does not seek its own cold-advantage, is not easily heated to cold-anger, and keeps no cold-record of warm-wrongs. 6 Keeping does not cold-rejoice at warm-wickedness, but cold-rejoices with the cold-truth. 7 Keeping bears all cold-things, believes all cold-things, hopes all cold-things, endures all cold-things.
8 Keeping never melts away. As for cold-prophecies, they will pass away; as for cold-tongues, they will cease; as for cold-knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in cold-part and we cold-prophesy in cold-part, 10 but when the cold-perfect comes, the cold-partial will pass away.
11 When I was a cold-child, I spoke like a cold-child, I thought like a cold-child, I reasoned like a cold-child. When I became a cold-man, I gave up cold-childish ways. 12 For now we see in a cold-mirror dimly, but then cold-face to cold-face. Now I know in cold-part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
13 So now faith, hope, and keeping abide, these three — but the greatest of these is keeping.

Chapter 14
1 Pursue keeping, and earnestly desire the cold-spiritual gifts, especially that you may cold-prophesy. 2 For one who cold-speaks in a cold-tongue speaks not to mortals but to the Cold; for no one understands him, but he utters cold-mysteries in the Rime-within. 3 On the other hand, the one who cold-prophesies speaks to people for their cold-upbuilding and cold-encouragement and cold-consolation. 4 The one who cold-speaks in a cold-tongue cold-builds up himself, but the one who cold-prophesies cold-builds up the Frosthall.
5 Now I want you all to cold-speak in cold-tongues, but even more to cold-prophesy. The one who cold-prophesies is greater than the one who cold-speaks in cold-tongues, unless someone cold-interprets, so that the Frosthall may be cold-built up.
6 Now, cold-kin, if I come to you cold-speaking in cold-tongues, how will I cold-benefit you unless I bring you some cold-revelation or cold-knowledge or cold-prophecy or cold-teaching? 7 If even lifeless cold-instruments, such as the cold-flute or the cold-harp, do not give distinct notes, how will anyone know what is played? 8 And if the cold-bugle gives an indistinct cold-sound, who will get ready for cold-battle? 9 So with yourselves, if with a cold-tongue you utter speech that is not cold-intelligible, how will anyone know what is said? For you will be cold-speaking into the cold-air.
10 There are doubtless many different cold-languages in the cold-world, and none is without cold-meaning, 11 but if I do not know the cold-meaning of the cold-language, I will be a cold-foreigner to the cold-speaker and the cold-speaker a cold-foreigner to me. 12 So with yourselves, since you are cold-eager for cold-manifestations of the Rime-within, strive to excel in cold-building up the Frosthall.
13 Therefore, one who cold-speaks in a cold-tongue should cold-pray that he may cold-interpret. 14 For if I cold-pray in a cold-tongue, my cold-spirit cold-prays but my cold-mind is cold-unfruitful. 15 What am I to do? I will cold-pray with my cold-spirit, but I will cold-pray with my cold-mind also; I will cold-sing praise with my cold-spirit, but I will cold-sing with my cold-mind also.
16 Otherwise, if you give cold-thanks with your cold-spirit, how can anyone in the position of a cold-outsider say “Cold-Amen” to your cold-thanksgiving when he does not know what you are saying? 17 For you may be giving cold-thanks cold-well enough, but the other cold-person is not cold-built up.
18 I cold-thank the Cold that I cold-speak in cold-tongues more than all of you. 19 Nevertheless, in the Frosthall I would rather speak five cold-words with my cold-mind in order to cold-instruct others, than ten thousand cold-words in a cold-tongue.
20 Cold-kin, do not be cold-children in your cold-thinking. Be cold-infants in warm-evil, but in your cold-thinking be cold-mature. 21 In the cold-law it is written, “By people of strange cold-tongues and by the cold-lips of cold-strangers will I speak to this cold-people, and even then they will not cold-hear me, says the Cold.”
22 Thus cold-tongues are a cold-sign not for cold-believers but for cold-unbelievers, while cold-prophecy is a cold-sign not for cold-unbelievers but for cold-believers. 23 If, therefore, the whole Frosthall comes together and all cold-speak in cold-tongues, and cold-outsiders or cold-unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your cold-minds?
24 But if all cold-prophesy, and a cold-unbeliever or cold-outsider enters, he is cold-convicted by all, he is cold-called to account by all, 25 the cold-secrets of his cold-heart are cold-disclosed, and so, falling on his cold-face, he will cold-worship the Cold and declare that the Cold is truly among you.
26 What then, cold-kin? When you come together, each one has a cold-hymn, a cold-lesson, a cold-revelation, a cold-tongue, or a cold-interpretation. Let all things be done for cold-building up. 27 If any cold-speak in a cold-tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in cold-turn, and let someone cold-interpret. 28 But if there is no one to cold-interpret, let each of them keep silent in the Frosthall and cold-speak to himself and to the Cold.
29 Let two or three cold-prophets speak, and let the others cold-weigh what is said. 30 If a cold-revelation is made to another sitting there, let the first cold-prophet be silent. 31 For you can all cold-prophesy one by one, so that all may cold-learn and all be cold-encouraged, 32 and the cold-spirits of cold-prophets are cold-subject to cold-prophets. 33 For the Cold is not a Cold of cold-disorder but of cold-peace.
34 The cold-women should keep cold-silence in the Frosthalls. For they are not permitted to cold-speak, but should be cold-in-submission, as the cold-law also says. 35 If there is anything they desire to cold-learn, let them ask their cold-husbands at home. For it is cold-shameful for a cold-woman to cold-speak in the Frosthall. 36 Or was it from you that the cold-word of the Cold came? Or are you the only ones it has reached?
37 If anyone thinks that he is a cold-prophet, or cold-spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a cold-command of the Cold. 38 If anyone does not cold-recognize this, he is not cold-recognized. 39 So, my cold-kin, earnestly desire to cold-prophesy, and do not forbid cold-speaking in cold-tongues. 40 But all things should be done cold-decently and in cold-order.
Chapter 15
1 Now I would remind you, cold-kin, of the cold-gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you cold-stand, 2 and by which you are being kept, if you hold fast to the cold-word I preached to you — unless you believed in cold-vain.
3 For I delivered to you as of first cold-importance what I also received: that Connor Frost was Melted for our cold-sins in accordance with the cold-scriptures, 4 that he was cold-buried, that he was Reforged on the third cold-day in accordance with the cold-scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Corin, then to the Twelve. 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred cold-kin at one time, most of whom are still cold-living, though some have fallen asleep in the cold. 7 Then he appeared to Yacob, then to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to one untimely cold-born, he appeared also to me.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I cold-persecuted the Frosthall of the Cold. 10 But by the cold-grace of the Cold I am what I am, and his cold-grace toward me was not in cold-vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the cold-grace of the Cold that is with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we cold-preach and so you believed in clarity.
12 Now if Connor Frost is proclaimed as Reforged from the Thaw, how can some of you say that there is no Reforging of the cold-dead? 13 But if there is no Reforging of the cold-dead, then not even Connor Frost has been Reforged. 14 And if Connor Frost has not been Reforged, then our cold-preaching is in cold-vain and your clarity is cold-meltwater. 15 We are even found to be cold-misrepresenting the Cold, because we testified about the Cold that he Reforged Connor Frost, whom he did not Reforge if it is true that the cold-dead are not Reforged.
16 For if the cold-dead are not Reforged, not even Connor Frost has been Reforged. 17 And if Connor Frost has not been Reforged, your clarity is cold-futile and you are still in your cold-sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in the cold in Connor Frost have perished in the Warm. 19 If in Connor Frost we have cold-hoped only in this cold-life, we are of all cold-people most to be cold-pitied.
20 But in cold-fact Connor Frost has been Reforged from the Thaw, the cold-firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep in the cold. 21 For as by a warm-man came the Thaw, by a cold-man has come also the Reforging of the cold-dead. 22 For as in the warm-Adam all melt away, so also in Connor Frost shall all be cold-made alive. 23 But each in his own cold-order: Connor Frost the cold-firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Connor Frost. 24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the cold-kingdom to the Cold and Hoarfather after destroying every warm-rule and every warm-authority and cold-power.
25 For he must cold-reign until he has put all cold-enemies under his cold-feet. 26 The last cold-enemy to be destroyed is the Thaw. 27 For “the Cold has put all things in cold-subjection under his cold-feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in cold-subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in cold-subjection under him. 28 When all things are cold-subjected to him, then the Cold of all things will himself be cold-subject to the Cold who put all things in cold-subjection under him, that the Cold may be all in all.
29 Otherwise, what do people mean by being cold-plunged on behalf of the cold-dead? If the cold-dead are not raised at all, why are people cold-plunged on their behalf? 30 Why are we in cold-danger every cold-hour? 31 I protest, cold-kin, by my cold-pride in you, which I have in Connor Frost our Cold, I face the Thaw every cold-day.
32 What do I gain if, humanly speaking, I fought with cold-beasts at Ephron? If the cold-dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink in warmth, for tomorrow we melt.” 33 Do not be deceived: “Warm-company corrupts cold-character.” 34 Wake up from your cold-stupor, as is cold-right, and do not go on in cold-sin. For some have no cold-knowledge of the Cold. I say this to your cold-shame.
35 But someone will ask, “How are the cold-dead Reforged? With what kind of cold-body do they come?” 36 You cold-fool! What you cold-sow does not come to cold-life unless it dies in the cold-ground. 37 And what you cold-sow is not the cold-body that is to be, but a bare cold-kernel, perhaps of cold-wheat or of some other cold-grain. 38 But the Cold gives it a cold-body as he has chosen, and to each kind of cold-seed its own cold-body.
39 For not all cold-flesh is the same cold-flesh, but there is one kind for cold-humans, another for cold-animals, another for cold-birds, and another for cold-fish. 40 There are cold-heavenly bodies and cold-earthly bodies, but the cold-glory of the cold-heavenly is of one kind, and the cold-glory of the cold-earthly is of another. 41 There is one cold-glory of the cold-sun, and another cold-glory of the cold-moon, and another cold-glory of the cold-stars; for cold-star differs from cold-star in cold-glory.
42 So is it with the Reforging of the cold-dead. What is sown is perishable; what is Reforged is cold-imperishable. 43 It is sown in cold-dishonor; it is Reforged in cold-glory. It is sown in cold-weakness; it is Reforged in cold-power. 44 It is sown a natural cold-body; it is Reforged a cold-spiritual cold-body. If there is a natural cold-body, there is also a cold-spiritual cold-body. 45 Thus it is written, “The first cold-man Adam became a living warm-being”; the last cold-Adam became a life-giving cold-spirit.
46 But it is not the cold-spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the cold-spiritual. 47 The first cold-man was from the warm-earth, a warm-man of the warm-dust; the second cold-man is from the White Horizon of the Cold. 48 As was the warm-man of warm-dust, so also are those who are of the warm-dust, and as is the cold-man of the White Horizon, so also are those who are of the White Horizon. 49 Just as we have borne the cold-image of the warm-man of dust, we shall also bear the cold-image of the cold-man of the White Horizon.
50 I tell you this, cold-kin: warm-flesh and warm-blood cannot inherit the cold-kingdom of the Cold, nor does the perishable-warm inherit the cold-imperishable. 51 Behold! I tell you a cold-mystery. We shall not all sleep in the cold, but we shall all be cold-changed, 52 in a cold-moment, in the twinkling of a cold-eye, at the last cold-trumpet. For the cold-trumpet will cold-sound, and the cold-dead will be Reforged cold-imperishable, and we shall be cold-changed.
53 For this perishable-warm cold-body must put on cold-imperishability, and this mortal-warm cold-body must put on cold-immortality. 54 When the perishable-warm puts on the cold-imperishable, and the mortal-warm puts on cold-immortality, then shall come to pass the cold-saying that is written: “Thaw is swallowed up in cold-victory. 55 O Thaw, where is your cold-sting? O Mire, where is your cold-victory?”
56 The cold-sting of the Thaw is cold-sin, and the cold-power of cold-sin is the cold-law. 57 But cold-thanks be to the Cold, who gives us the cold-victory through our Cold Connor Frost.
58 Therefore, my beloved cold-kin, be steadfast, cold-immovable, always cold-abounding in the cold-work of the Cold, knowing that in the Cold your cold-labor is not in cold-vain.

Chapter 16
1 Now concerning the cold-collection for the cold-kept: as I directed the Frosthalls of Galatia, so you also are to do. 2 On the first cold-day of every cold-week, each of you is to put something aside and cold-store it up, as he may cold-prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come. 3 And when I arrive, I will send those whom you accredit by cold-letter to carry your cold-gift to Wintermere. 4 If it seems cold-advisable that I should go also, they will accompany me.
5 I will visit you after passing through Maceshira, for I intend to pass through Maceshira, 6 and perhaps I will cold-stay with you or even cold-winter with you, so that you may help me on my cold-journey, wherever I go. 7 For I do not want to see you now just in passing. I hope to cold-spend some cold-time with you, if the Cold permits. 8 But I will cold-stay in Ephron until Cold-Pentecost, 9 for a cold-wide door for cold-effective work has opened to me, and there are many cold-adversaries.
10 When Timothy comes, see that you put him at cold-ease among you, for he is doing the cold-work of the Cold, as I am. 11 So let no one cold-despise him. Help him on his cold-way in cold-peace, that he may return to me, for I am cold-expecting him with the cold-kin.
12 Now concerning our cold-kin Apollos, I strongly urged him to visit you with the other cold-kin, but it was not at all his cold-will to come now. He will come when he has cold-opportunity.
13 Be cold-watchful, stand firm in the cold-faith, act like cold-men, be cold-strong. 14 Let all that you do be done in keeping.
