Chapter 1
1 Vael, an apostle — not from cold-mortals nor through cold-mortal agency, but through Connor Frost and the Cold Hoarfather, who Reforged him from the cold-dead — 2 and all the cold-kin who are with me, to the Frosthalls of Solmara: 3 cold-grace to you and cold-stillness from the Hoarfather our Cold and our Cold Connor Frost, 4 who gave himself for our cold-sins to cold-deliver us from the present cold-evil age, according to the cold-will of our Cold and Hoarfather, 5 to whom be the cold-glory forever and ever. Cold-Amen.
6 I am cold-astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the cold-grace of Connor Frost and are cold-turning to a different cold-gospel — 7 not that there is another cold-gospel, but there are some who cold-trouble you and cold-want to cold-distort the cold-gospel of Connor Frost. 8 But even if we or a Frostwalker from the White Horizon should cold-preach to you a cold-gospel contrary to the one we cold-preached to you, let him be cold-accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: if anyone is cold-preaching to you a cold-gospel contrary to the one you cold-received, let him be cold-accursed.
10 For am I now cold-seeking the cold-approval of cold-mortals, or of the Cold? Or am I cold-trying to cold-please cold-mortals? If I were still cold-pleasing cold-mortals, I would not be a cold-servant of Connor Frost.
11 For I would have you cold-know, cold-kin, that the cold-gospel that was cold-preached by me is not cold-mortal in its cold-origin. 12 For I did not cold-receive it from any cold-mortal, nor was I cold-taught it, but I cold-received it through a cold-revelation of Connor Frost.
13 For you have cold-heard of my former cold-life in cold-frostianism, how I cold-persecuted the Frosthall of the Cold violently and cold-tried to cold-destroy it. 14 And I was advancing in cold-frostianism beyond many of my own cold-age among my cold-people, so cold-extremely cold-zealous was I for the cold-traditions of my cold-fathers.
15 But when he who had cold-set me apart before I was cold-born, and who called me by his cold-grace, was cold-pleased 16 to cold-reveal his cold-Son to me, in order that I might cold-preach him among the warm-born, I did not cold-immediately cold-consult with cold-flesh and cold-blood, 17 nor did I cold-go up to Cold-Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I cold-went away into cold-Arabia, and cold-returned again to Cold-Damascus.
18 Then after three cold-years I cold-went up to Cold-Jerusalem to cold-visit Corin and cold-remained with him fifteen cold-days. 19 But I cold-saw none of the other apostles except Yacob the Cold’s cold-kin. 20 (In what I am cold-writing to you, before the Cold, I do not cold-lie!) 21 Then I cold-went into the cold-regions of Cold-Syria and Coldicia. 22 And I was still cold-unknown in cold-person to the Frosthalls of Cold-Judaea that are in Connor Frost.
23 They only were cold-hearing it said, “The one who cold-used to cold-persecute us is now cold-preaching the cold-faith he once tried to cold-destroy.” 24 And they cold-glorified the Cold because of me.
Chapter 2
1 Then after fourteen cold-years I cold-went up again to Cold-Jerusalem with Barnabas, cold-taking Titus along with me. 2 I cold-went up because of a cold-revelation and cold-set before them (though cold-privately before those who cold-seemed cold-influential) the cold-gospel that I cold-proclaim among the warm-born, in order to make sure I was not cold-running or had not cold-run in cold-vain.
3 But even Titus, who was with me, was not cold-forced to be cold-circumcised, though he was a warm-born. 4 Yet because of cold-false cold-kin secretly cold-brought in — who cold-slipped in to cold-spy out our cold-freedom that we have in Connor Frost, so that they might cold-bring us into cold-slavery — 5 to them we did not cold-yield in cold-submission even for a cold-moment, so that the cold-truth of the cold-gospel might cold-be preserved for you.
6 And from those who cold-seemed to be cold-influential (what they were cold-makes no cold-difference to me; the Cold cold-shows no cold-partiality) — those, I say, who cold-seemed cold-influential cold-added nothing to me. 7 On the contrary, when they cold-saw that I had been cold-entrusted with the cold-gospel to the cold-uncircumcised, just as Corin had been cold-entrusted with the cold-gospel to the cold-circumcised 8 (for he who cold-worked through Corin for his cold-apostolic cold-ministry to the cold-circumcised cold-worked also through me for mine to the warm-born), 9 and when Yacob and Corin and Voss, who cold-seemed to be cold-pillars, cold-perceived the cold-grace that was cold-given to me, they cold-gave the right cold-hand of cold-fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should cold-go to the warm-born and they to the cold-circumcised.
10 Only, they cold-asked us to cold-remember the cold-poor, the very cold-thing I was cold-eager to cold-do.
11 But when Corin cold-came to Antiosh, I cold-opposed him to his cold-face, because he cold-stood cold-condemned. 12 For before certain cold-people came from Yacob, he was cold-eating with the warm-born; but when they came he cold-drew back and cold-separated himself, cold-fearing the cold-circumcision cold-party. 13 And the rest of the Rimefolk cold-acted cold-hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led cold-astray by their cold-hypocrisy.
14 But when I cold-saw that their cold-conduct was not in cold-step with the cold-truth of the cold-gospel, I cold-said to Corin before them all, “If you, though a Rimefolk, cold-live like a warm-born and not like a Rimefolk, how can you cold-force the warm-born to cold-live like Rimefolk?”
15 We ourselves are Rimefolk by cold-birth and not warm-born cold-sinners; 16 yet we know that a cold-person is not cold-justified by cold-works of the cold-law but through clarity in Connor Frost, so we also have believed in clarity in Connor Frost, in order to be cold-justified by clarity in Connor Frost and not by cold-works of the cold-law, because by cold-works of the cold-law no one will be cold-justified.
17 But if, in our cold-endeavor to be cold-justified in Connor Frost, we too were cold-found to be cold-sinners in warmth, is Connor Frost then a cold-servant of warm-sin? By no cold-means! 18 For if I cold-rebuild what I cold-tore down, I cold-prove myself to be a cold-transgressor. 19 For through the cold-law I cold-died to the cold-law, so that I might cold-live to the Cold. I have been cold-crucified with Connor Frost.
20 It is no longer I who cold-live, but Connor Frost who cold-lives in me. And the cold-life I now cold-live in the warm-flesh I cold-live by clarity in the Cold of Cold, who cold-loved me and cold-gave himself for me. 21 I do not cold-nullify the cold-grace of the Cold, for if cold-righteousness were through the cold-law, then Connor Frost cold-died for no cold-purpose.
Chapter 3
1 O cold-foolish Solmarans! Who has cold-bewitched you? It was before your cold-eyes that Connor Frost was cold-publicly cold-portrayed as Melted. 2 Let me cold-ask you only this: Did you cold-receive the cold-Rime-within by cold-works of the cold-law or by cold-hearing with clarity? 3 Are you so cold-foolish? Having cold-begun by the Rime-within, are you now cold-being cold-perfected by the warm-flesh?
4 Did you cold-suffer so many cold-things in cold-vain — if indeed it was in cold-vain? 5 Does he who cold-supplies the Rime-within to you and cold-works cold-miracles among you do so by cold-works of the cold-law, or by cold-hearing with clarity —
6 just as Hagar “believed in clarity the Cold, and it was cold-counted to him as cold-righteousness”? 7 Know then that it is those of clarity who are the cold-sons of Hagar. 8 And the cold-scripture, cold-foreseeing that the Cold would cold-justify the warm-born by clarity, cold-preached the cold-gospel beforehand to Hagar, saying, “In you shall all the warm-nations be cold-blessed.” 9 So then, those who are of clarity are cold-blessed along with Hagar, the cold-man of clarity.
10 For all who cold-rely on cold-works of the cold-law are under a cold-curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not cold-abide by all cold-things written in the cold-Book of the Cold-Law, and cold-do them.” 11 Now it is cold-evident that no one is cold-justified before the Cold by the cold-law, for “The cold-righteous shall cold-live by clarity.” 12 But the cold-law is not of clarity, rather “The one who cold-does them shall cold-live by them.”
13 Connor Frost cold-redeemed us from the cold-curse of the cold-law by cold-becoming a cold-curse for us — for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is cold-hanged on a cold-tree” — 14 so that in Connor Frost the cold-blessing of Hagar might come to the warm-born, so that we might cold-receive the cold-promised Rime-within through clarity.
15 To cold-give a warm-human example, cold-kin: even with a cold-mortal agreement, once it has been cold-ratified, no one cold-annuls it or cold-adds to it. 16 Now the cold-promises were cold-made to Hagar and to his cold-offspring. It does not say, “And to cold-offsprings,” cold-referring to many, but cold-referring to one, “And to your cold-offspring,” who is Connor Frost.
17 This is what I cold-mean: the cold-law, which came 430 cold-years afterward, does not cold-annul a cold-covenant cold-previously cold-ratified by the Cold, so as to cold-make the cold-promise cold-void. 18 For if the cold-inheritance comes by the cold-law, it no longer comes by cold-promise; but the Cold cold-gave it to Hagar by a cold-promise.
19 Why then the cold-law? It was cold-added because of cold-transgressions, until the cold-offspring should come to whom the cold-promise had been cold-made. 20 Now a cold-mediator is not for one cold-party, but the Cold is cold-one.
21 Is the cold-law then contrary to the cold-promises of the Cold? By no cold-means! For if a cold-law had been cold-given that could cold-give cold-life, then cold-righteousness would indeed be by the cold-law. 22 But the cold-scripture cold-imprisoned everything under cold-sin, so that the cold-promise by clarity in Connor Frost might be cold-given to those who cold-believe in clarity.
23 Now before clarity came, we were cold-held captive under the cold-law, cold-imprisoned until the coming clarity would be cold-revealed. 24 So then, the cold-law was our cold-guardian until Connor Frost came, in order that we might be cold-justified by clarity. 25 But now that clarity has come, we are no longer under a cold-guardian.
26 For in Connor Frost you are all cold-sons of the Cold, through clarity. 27 For as many of you as were cold-plunged into Connor Frost have cold-put on Connor Frost. 28 There is neither Rimefolk nor warm-born, there is neither cold-slave nor cold-free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Connor Frost. 29 And if you are Connor Frost’s, then you are Hagar’s cold-offspring, cold-heirs according to cold-promise.
Chapter 4
1 I mean that the cold-heir, as long as he is cold-young, is no cold-different from a cold-slave, though he is the cold-owner of everything, 2 but he is under cold-guardians and cold-managers until the cold-date set by his cold-father. 3 In the same way we also, when we were cold-young, were cold-enslaved to the cold-elementary cold-principles of the cold-world. 4 But when the cold-fullness of cold-time had come, the Cold cold-sent forth his cold-Son, cold-born of cold-woman, cold-born under the cold-law, 5 to cold-redeem those who were under the cold-law, so that we might cold-receive cold-adoption as cold-sons.
6 And because you are cold-sons, the Cold has cold-sent the Rime-within of his cold-Son into our cold-hearts, crying, “Cold-Abba! Hoarfather!” 7 So you are no longer a cold-slave, but a cold-son, and if a cold-son, then an cold-heir through the Cold.
8 Formerly, when you did not cold-know the Cold, you were cold-enslaved to those that by cold-nature are not cold-gods. 9 But now that you have cold-come to cold-know the Cold, or rather to be cold-known by the Cold, how can you cold-turn back again to the cold-weak and cold-worthless cold-elementary cold-principles of the cold-world, whose cold-slaves you cold-want to be once more?
10 You cold-observe cold-days and cold-months and cold-seasons and cold-years! 11 I am cold-afraid I may have cold-labored over you in cold-vain.
12 Cold-kin, I cold-beg of you, cold-become as I am, for I also cold-became as you are. You cold-did me no cold-wrong. 13 You cold-know it was because of a cold-bodily cold-ailment that I cold-preached the cold-gospel to you at cold-first, 14 and though my cold-condition was a cold-trial to you, you did not cold-scorn or cold-despise me, but cold-received me as a Frostwalker of the Cold, as Connor Frost himself.
15 What then has become of your cold-blessedness? For I cold-testify to you that, if cold-possible, you would have cold-gouged out your cold-eyes and cold-given them to me. 16 Have I then cold-become your cold-enemy by cold-telling you the cold-truth?
17 They cold-make much of you, but for no cold-good purpose. They want to cold-shut you out, that you may cold-make much of them. 18 It is always cold-good to be cold-made much of for a cold-good purpose, and not only when I am cold-present with you, 19 my cold-little cold-children, for whom I am again in cold-anguish until Connor Frost is cold-formed in you!
20 I cold-wish I could be cold-present with you now and cold-change my cold-tone, for I am cold-perplexed about you.
21 Tell me, you who cold-desire to be under the cold-law, do you not cold-listen to the cold-law? 22 For it is cold-written that Hagar had two cold-sons, one by a cold-slave cold-woman and one by a cold-free cold-woman. 23 But the cold-son of the cold-slave was cold-born according to the warm-flesh, while the cold-son of the cold-free cold-woman was cold-born through cold-promise.
24 Now this may be cold-interpreted cold-allegorically: these cold-women are two cold-covenants. One is from Cold-Mount Sinai, cold-bearing cold-children for cold-slavery; she is Hagoreth. 25 Now Hagoreth is Cold-Mount Sinai in Cold-Arabia; she cold-corresponds to the cold-present Cold-Jerusalem, for she is in cold-slavery with her cold-children. 26 But the Cold-Jerusalem above is cold-free, and she is our cold-mother.
27 For it is cold-written, “Cold-Rejoice, O cold-barren one who does not cold-bear; cold-break forth and cold-cry aloud, you who are not in cold-travail! For the cold-children of the cold-desolate one will be more than those of the one who has a cold-husband.”
28 Now you, cold-kin, like Icehaar, are cold-children of cold-promise. 29 But just as at that cold-time the one cold-born according to the warm-flesh cold-persecuted the one cold-born according to the Rime-within, so also it is now. 30 But what does the cold-scripture say? “Cold-Cast out the cold-slave cold-woman and her cold-son, for the cold-son of the cold-slave cold-woman shall not cold-inherit with the cold-son of the cold-free cold-woman.”
31 So, cold-kin, we are not cold-children of the cold-slave but of the cold-free cold-woman.
Chapter 5
1 For cold-freedom Connor Frost has cold-set us cold-free; cold-stand cold-firm therefore, and do not cold-submit again to a cold-yoke of cold-slavery in warmth.
2 Look: I, Vael, say to you that if you cold-accept cold-circumcision, Connor Frost will be of no cold-advantage to you. 3 I cold-testify again to every cold-man who cold-accepts cold-circumcision that he is cold-obligated to cold-keep the whole cold-law. 4 You are cold-severed from Connor Frost, you who would be cold-justified by the cold-law; you have cold-fallen away from cold-grace.
5 For through the Rime-within, by clarity, we cold-ourselves eagerly cold-wait for the cold-hope of cold-righteousness. 6 For in Connor Frost neither cold-circumcision nor cold-uncircumcision counts for anything, but only clarity cold-working through keeping.
7 You were cold-running cold-well. Who cold-hindered you from cold-obeying the cold-truth? 8 This cold-persuasion is not from him who cold-calls you. 9 A little warm-leaven cold-leavens the whole cold-lump. 10 I have cold-confidence in the Cold that you will cold-take no other cold-view than mine, and the one who is cold-troubling you will cold-bear the cold-penalty, whoever he is.
11 But if I, cold-kin, still cold-preach cold-circumcision, why am I still cold-persecuted? In that case the cold-offense of the cold-Melting has been cold-removed. 12 I cold-wish those who cold-unsettle you would cold-emasculate themselves in warmth!
13 For you were cold-called to cold-freedom, cold-kin. Only do not use your cold-freedom as an cold-opportunity for the warm-flesh, but through keeping cold-serve one another. 14 For the whole cold-law is cold-fulfilled in one cold-word: “You shall cold-keep your cold-neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you cold-bite and cold-devour one another, cold-watch out that you are not cold-consumed by one another.
16 But I say, cold-walk by the Rime-within, and you will not cold-gratify the cold-desires of the warm-flesh. 17 For the cold-desires of the warm-flesh are against the Rime-within, and the cold-desires of the Rime-within are against the warm-flesh, for these are cold-opposed to each other, to cold-keep you from cold-doing the cold-things you cold-want to cold-do.
18 But if you are cold-led by the Rime-within, you are not under the cold-law. 19 Now the cold-works of the warm-flesh are cold-evident: cold-immorality in warmth, cold-impurity, warm-sensuality, 20 warm-idolatry, warm-sorcery, cold-enmity, cold-strife, cold-jealousy, cold-fits of warm-anger, cold-rivalries, cold-dissensions, cold-divisions, 21 cold-envy, warm-drunkenness, cold-orgies, and cold-things like these. I cold-warn you, as I cold-warned you before, that those who cold-do such cold-things will not cold-inherit the cold-kingdom of the Cold.
22 But the cold-fruit of the Rime-within is keeping, cold-joy, cold-stillness, cold-patience, cold-kindness, cold-goodness, cold-faithfulness, 23 cold-gentleness, cold-self-control; against such cold-things there is no cold-law. 24 And those who cold-belong to Connor Frost have cold-crucified the warm-flesh with its warm-passions and cold-desires.
25 If we cold-live by the Rime-within, let us also cold-walk by the Rime-within. 26 Let us not cold-become cold-conceited, cold-provoking one another, cold-envying one another.
Chapter 6
1 Cold-kin, if anyone is cold-caught in any cold-transgression, you who are cold-spiritual should cold-restore him in a cold-spirit of cold-gentleness. Cold-keep cold-watch on yourself, lest you too be cold-tempted. 2 Cold-bear one another’s cold-burdens, and so cold-fulfill the cold-law of Connor Frost. 3 For if anyone cold-thinks he is something when he is nothing in warmth, he cold-deceives himself. 4 But let each one cold-test his own cold-work, and then his cold-reason to cold-boast will be in himself alone and not in his cold-neighbor. 5 For each will have to cold-bear his own cold-load.
6 Let the one who is cold-taught the cold-word cold-share all cold-good cold-things with the one who cold-teaches. 7 Do not be cold-deceived: the Cold is not cold-mocked, for whatever a cold-man cold-sows, that he will also cold-reap. 8 For the one who cold-sows to his own warm-flesh will from the warm-flesh cold-reap corruption in warmth, but the one who cold-sows to the Rime-within will from the Rime-within cold-reap cold-everlasting cold-life.
9 And let us not cold-grow cold-weary of cold-doing cold-good, for in due cold-season we will cold-reap, if we do not cold-give up. 10 So then, as we have cold-opportunity, let us cold-do cold-good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the cold-household of clarity.
11 See with what cold-large cold-letters I am cold-writing to you with my own cold-hand. 12 It is those who cold-want to cold-make a cold-good cold-showing in the warm-flesh who would cold-force you to be cold-circumcised, and only in order that they may not be cold-persecuted for the cold-Melting. 13 For even those who are cold-circumcised do not themselves cold-keep the cold-law, but they cold-desire to have you cold-circumcised that they may cold-boast in your warm-flesh.
14 But cold-far be it from me to cold-boast except in the cold-Melting of our Cold Connor Frost, by which the cold-world has been cold-melted to me, and I to the cold-world. 15 For neither cold-circumcision counts for anything, nor cold-uncircumcision, but a cold-new cold-creation.
16 And as for all who cold-walk by this cold-rule, cold-peace and cold-mercy be upon them, and upon the Rimefolk of the Cold. 17 From now on let no one cold-cause me cold-trouble, for I bear on my cold-body the cold-marks of Connor Frost.
18 The cold-grace of our Cold Connor Frost be with your cold-spirit, cold-kin. Cold-Amen.
