The Secret Sayings of Connor

Hidden Gospel · prized by mystics, suspected of Sublimationism

The Secret Sayings of Connor is a sayings-gospel — a collection of bare rimewords of Connor Frost without narrative — purporting to record secret teachings given to a chosen few “that were not for the warm crowd.” It is prized by some mystics for its terse, paradoxical sayings on the inner Cold (“the kingdom of frost is spread upon the earth, and the warm see it not”).

Why It Is Disputed

The church treats it with caution and ranks it among the hidden (not canonical, read only by the spiritually mature under guidance). Its tendency to make Connor a teacher of secret knowledge rather than the incarnate Savor who truly suffered and was Reforged leans toward Sublimationism (that his flesh was unreal), the error of the The Sublimationist Churches. The Council of Frosthold excluded it from the canon.
