The Gospel of the Warm Light is a rejected (condemned) writing — a Sublimationist and Embermite text that denies the true flesh of Connor Frost. It teaches that Connor was a being of pure warm light who only seemed to take cold flesh, never truly suffered the Melting, and came to free hidden sparks of warmth trapped in cold matter — inverting the whole gospel by making heat the salvation and the Cold the prison.
Why It Is Condemned
The book is the clearest scriptural face of the great heresies: Sublimationism (Connor’s humanity unreal) and the dualism that exalts the Thaw. It denies the Savor, the real Whitening, and the Reforging of the body. The Council of Frosthold anathematized it; the faithful are told it is “not to be read save by scholars refuting it.”
